Located in the Aquitaine region in the Pyrénées Atlantiques department of southern France, La Maison Paul is set in the quaint Béarnais village of Araujuzon, in the picturesque valley of the Gave d’Oloron. This is a part of France known for both its cultural diversity and unsurpassed scenery, bordered as it is by the lively Basque country on the Atlantic coast, northern Spain, vineyards of sophisticated Bordeaux and the spectacular Pyrénées mountain range.

Directions by car
Getting to the region is simple, and finding La Maison Paul even easier – both are served by the A64 (E80), which runs from Toulouse to Biarritz.
From the A64 (E80) La Maison Paul is only 20 minutes drive from the exit for Salies de Béarn, Junction 7. From Salies de Béarn, follow the D933 to Sauveterre-de-Béarn, and then the D936 Route des Pyrénées towards Navarrenx. You’ll now be on the right road, so all you need do is relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings until you see signs for Araujuzon. We’ll be waiting to welcome you to La Maison Paul with a glass of the region’s finest.

By Air
Fly to Pau, Biarritz or Lourdes, all of which are a short and straightforward drive to La Maison Paul. Budget operators fly from London City Airport and Stansted Airport in the UK, whilst British Airways and Air France also provide scheduled services into Bordeaux and Toulouse, a little further afield.

By Train
La Maison Paul is within easy reach from railway stations in nearby Orthez, Dax, Pau and Biarrtiz. TGV trains operate daily from Paris Montparnasse to all four stations. Train connections from the UK to Paris Gare du Nord are available using Eurostar, whilst RailEurope now allows passengers to take their own car from Calais to Toulouse.
